Suriya’s upcoming film Retro has created a lot of buzz with its unusual trailer. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj the romantic action drama is set to release on May 1st, with Pooja Hegde playing the female lead.
Unlike most trailers that give hints about the story, the makers of Retro chose to keep things mysterious, sparking curiosity among fans.
At the trailer and audio launch, Suriya said that Retro touches on the purpose of life. He mentioned that his own life’s purpose is the Agaram Foundation, which has helped over 8,000 students graduate. He added that the film has many emotional layers, including love, humor, and war.
Shriya Saran features in a special song with Suriya and actors Joju George, Jayaram and Karunakaran play important roles.
The film is produced by Suriya and Jyothika under 2D Entertainment with music by Santhosh Narayanan. Naga Vamsi is presenting the film in Telugu.
